Living & Dining rooms
Your living room is most likely where you spend the majority of your home life - outside your bed. Larch Maintenance offers you a regular cleaning that includes our seven magic steps (LR7):
1. Declutter
- Throw away trash and recycling.
- Put items away where they belong—even those stacks of magazines you’ve been meaning to read but just haven’t gotten around to yet.
2. Dust
- Dust from top to bottom, beginning with the highest surfaces in the room and moving down to the floor. Our duster traps and locks dust rather than just shuffling it around the room (and into your sinuses).
3. Clean windows
- Clean windows with a ready-made glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth to avoid streaks.
- Clean the window tracks. They catch oh-so-much dust and dirt.
4. Clean sofas
- Wash any throw blankets.
- Vacuum all upholstery with the upholstery attachment.
- Fluff your pillows! Why not? Fluffed pillows just feel cleaner.
5. Clean walls (when needed)
- Using a sponge or a microfiber cloth, we gently scrub the walls with warm water. We might even take down your art or posters to do this if necessary.
6. Clean floors
- Vacuum all rugs and carpet.
- Wet mop hardwoods or tile.
7. Add the finishing touches
- Who doesn’t love a vase full of fresh flowers on the coffee table?
- We rearrange and then re-rearrange items on your coffee table until they’re in the perfect configuration.
Bedrooms
We create the peaceful bedroom you deserve. We leave you with a neat and tidy space primed for sweet dreams. Below is our BR10: the ultimate ten steps we take when cleaning bedrooms.
- Take out trash.
- Pick up dirty clothes.
- Put away clean clothes.
- Dust curtains and light fixtures.
- Strip the bed.
- Clear surface clutter.
- Wipe surfaces clean.
- Wipe down windows and mirrors.
- Vacuum or sweep the floor.
- Remake the bed.
Kitchen

- Take inventory of leftovers.
- Clean outside of appliances.
- Clean the inside of the microwave and oven.
- Deep clean and disinfect sink and faucets.
- Sanitize sponges.

- Scrub tiles.
- Clean bath tub.
- Clean whole toilet including bowl inside and out, cistern, handle and lid.
